The majority of animals rehomed by the Paws Centre spend their time with us in the kennel or cattery but some special cases need the extra care and attention of a fosterer before they are ready to be rehomed.
We are always looking for new fosterers to give a temporary home to cats and dogs that are ill, recovering from an accident, afraid of people, pregnant, nursing or just too young to leave us.
All potential fosterers are home-visited by the Branch and are supported whilst caring for our animals. Food, litter and vet bills are also met if required.
Please contact the Paws centre on 01603 766001 to find out more.
Older companions:
Older cats and dogs often stay with us for longer than their younger, prettier companions but in many ways these are the easiest and most rewarding of animals to adopt - they settle in quickly, live life at a relaxed and gentle pace, and are just looking for a cosy fire to warm them in their twilight years.
If you’ve got what it takes to give an older cat or dog a loving home for the rest of their days – or if you’d like to sponsor one of these animals – please contact the Paws Centre on 01603 766001. |
