The Norwich & Mid-Norfolk RSPCA is based on Barrack Street in Norwich. The branch is entirely self-financing, receiving no funding other than that which it generates through fundraising activities, legacies and our charity shops. Our work in the region costs us around 800 per day.

The branch rehomes cats and dogs, with spaces for 10 dogs and 10 ctas at a private boarding kennels outside the city.

Our aims

  • To alleviate suffering and rehabilitate damaged and neglected animals throughout our Branch area.
  • To find new and loving homes for stray or abandoned animals.
  • To conduct neutering and microchipping campaigns in areas of need.
  • To offer financial assistance towards veterinary treatment to pet owners in receipt of means-tested benefits, (assessed on a case by case basis)
  • To pay veterinary fees for un-owned animals requiring treatment.
  • To provide information to help educate the general public on matters of animal welfare.
