The Norwich & Mid-Norfolk RSPCA is based on Barrack Street in Norwich. The branch is entirely self-financing, receiving no funding other than that which it generates through fundraising activities, legacies and our charity shops. Our work in the region costs us around £800 per day.

The branch rehomes cats and dogs, with an on site cattery for 38 cats and spaces for 10 dogs at a private boarding kennels outside the city.

Our aims

  • To alleviate suffering and rehabilitate damaged and neglected animals throughout our Branch area.
  • To find new and loving homes for stray or abandoned animals.
  • To conduct neutering and microchipping campaigns in areas of need.
  • To offer financial assistance towards veterinary treatment to pet owners in receipt of means-tested benefits, (assessed on a case by case basis)
  • To pay veterinary fees for un-owned animals requiring treatment.
  • To provide information to help educate the general public on matters of animal welfare.
