The Deputy Shop Manager will work under the direction of the shop manager and the Retail Trading Manager and will ensure the smooth running of the shop, including sales, sorting and storage areas; promoting merchandise to attract custom and achieve sales targets of donated and new goods; recruiting and training volunteers. Providing a good standard of service to customers within specified guidelines and ensuring best practice in the shop.
Working alongside a manager and volunteer team you will motivate the team to achieve sales and Gift Aid targets.
An outgoing and enthusiastic individual you will possess the ability to react quickly and positively to the changing dynamic of both the charity retail sector and our expanding branch. You will be able to support both your manager and volunteer team.
